Business Retreat in the Poconos

Looking for a business retreat in the Poconos? Look no further! We are a great value with over 350 acres and a private lake along with all the amenities for your event.

Our Process

Our process goes beyond any event planner or typical retreat venue when it comes to planning experiences and activities for an employee retreat. The magic is in the process of fully identifying and comprehending your retreat leadership goals and vision. For planning purposes, f you’re stuck, go back to the original itinerary you made and consider the high-level objectives you set.

Giving your guests a window of time to choose their own experience from a list you supply is a terrific approach to show them that the retreat is actually tailored to them. To be able to express and explore their own sense of belonging inside the company and culture.

Identifying Your Objectives

Is this all work, all play, or a combination of the two? Are there any specific work sessions you’d like to do while on retreat? Do you want new team members to communicate more effectively? Do you want individuals to make new connections and gain a deeper knowledge of how each function contributes to the company’s growth and long-term viability? These are some of the questions we ponder with our clients as we strive to determine the retreat’s objectives.

Pennsylvania Fun Facts!

The Seal of the State

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Seal, which was authorized by the General Assembly in 1791, is a mark of validity that proves that proclamations, commissions, and other state papers are lawful and legitimate. The face of the Seal has symbols that are identical to those seen on the Coat of Arms, but without the supporting horses, and is most commonly used as an impression. The other side, or counterseal, depicts Liberty as a lion overpowering Tyranny, with the warning “Both Can’t Survive.”

Ruffed Grouse is the state bird

The plump, red-brown bird with the feathered legs was a staple of the food supply for the early settlers. The Ruffed Grouse, often known as a partridge, is still a common sight in Pennsylvania’s woodlands. The date was chosen on June 22, 1931.

Hemlock is the state tree

For the state’s initial settlers, the Hemlock proved to be a reliable ally. Inside log homes fashioned from the father of Pennsylvania’s woods, many a pioneer family felt more sheltered from the weather and their foes. On June 23, 1931, it was established.

Mountain Laurel is the state flower

Every sunny Pennsylvania mountaintop is a still-life in pink pastels in mid-June, a sight that pleased members of the Pennsylvania House and Senate, as well as the wife of Pennsylvania governor Gifford Pinchot. Pinchot’s preference for the azalea was defeated, and the Mountain Laurel was named the official state flower. The date was set on May 5, 1933.
